The long wait was over... 

I was expecting a different delivery but when someone rang the doorbell, it was a lightweight sealed box that was handed over to me. At that time, it made me think of what it contained and aha, it's the Céline Multicolour Luggage Calfskin Leather Tote Mini. I couldn't wait to remove the sellotape wrapped on top of the box despite the fact that we were off to go somewhere. I went to the kitchen and look for a knife to unseal carefully the top of the box. I effortlessly unsealed the edges and inside was a personalised plastic carrier bag. Wait a minute, when my Mulberry Lily Scarlet Bag was delivered it was a box in a box but this time, it's a personalised plastic carrier bag in a box. That made me think for a minute about its genuineness (just a joke!)? It's because, I didn't purchase it from one of the Céline shops or on their website; I was aware of their upscale suggested retail price. It will surely give me a negative account! However, it is an absolutely authentic Céline Luggage Tote Mini source from a legitimate seller of luxury second-hand designer labels.

On the 10th of February this year, I purchased one of my wishes with a bit of haggling (I'm very proud of it!) on a robotic online store which sells pre-owned top of the range items. The luggage tote mini has been owned for some time but the stated physical shape of it was that, it's in a very good condition. I am a very wise buyer and it is always in my attitude to check it thoroughly despite the stated written statement from the seller. Which is why, I inspected thoroughly the Céline Luggage Tote on their website using the presented images of the seller. Actually, it is one of my favourite handbags. My reluctance was accumulating but the 'Make an Offer' button vanquished my apprehension. I sent a few offers until the seller agreed with the median price I sent. It was an anxious process but I kept at it until we both agreed a price. It was for me a very good snapped up bargain given the money I saved. 

It was last month when I paid for it in full as I didn't like the thought of having pending and worrisome debts, especially if it's relating to any desired luxury items. Subjectively, “if you can't pay for it, don't buy it”. That is my aphorism in buying expensive stuff either online or in store and honestly, to making yourself presentable doesn't have to lead to indebtedness or to go beyond your overdraft limit. May I ask? How is your attitude when intending to buy a top of the range item?

I placed and paid for my order in full... 

Understandingly, I have this thought at the back of my mind that the Céline Multicolour Luggage Calfskin Leather Tote Mini will arrive in just 15 days. This is with the inclusion of the seller sending the item to the Head Office for quality control before they will send it to my postal address. Yes, they have a unique quality control team who physically inspects every item for authentication purposes so that buyers can be rest assured that the article is genuine. What a good intention, to protect from fraudulent sellers and to give added confidence. I salute them but not on the side of making me wait in vain when it comes to ad hoc communication. Yes, there was a lack of communication despite the 'pre- contractual' information under the Consumer Rights of 2015. Adversely, what if they found out that one of many items is a counterfeit? Also, are they really 100 % physically checking every item?

I have lots of patience and great understanding when issues are thrown at me especially the unexpected ones. These type of situations will demand more energy and challenge your state of mind. I dislike wrinkles, so I just conceal it with a smile when circumstance are going in a different direction. The truth about expectation versus reality. Am I right? 

I received an email with a robotically structured statement from them which made me unenthusiastic but my tenacious mindset helped me to get over it. That is why, I posted carbon copies of my comment to the seller's comment section on their website which she gracefully answered in the end, too. The seller appeased my mind and I left the next step to the management to deal with. In particular, when the bag was quality checked and passed its authentication process as well as the shipment and delivery to my postal address.

 

On the 2nd of March, a delivery man for a tracked service courier arrived at my doorstep with a box in his hands. This was it and after almost a month of waiting in vain I could now finally touch my acquired item. VICTORIA'S COBALT BLUE MOUSE GEL PAD

I am not mainly looking for clothes and shoes on the web as I am also interested to good quality computer accessories.

Last week, I was slightly busy comparing prices for a particular computer accessory. It wasn’t a big deal nor a tiring task for me as I was just visiting each computer store's website. At the end of my speculation, ebay.co.uk really caught my attention and even ordered from them a cobalt blue gel soft mouse pad mat with wrist rest silicone. It wasn’t in my plan to buy the accessory that day but my old mouse pad was near to its retirement stage. Aside from that, I am very curios to see if it really is beneficial to my wrist.

While I was comparing prices last Monday, I also read a few comments from past buyers. All of them had similar positive points of view and recommended them highly to intending buyers. According to their comments, 'mouse gel pad with wrist rest silicone is designed for ease of motion and relief of stress and is also therapeutic as it reduces pressure point in the wrist'.

I think what they want to imply is; it is more relaxing for our right or left hand to scroll the mouse while surfing on the web. The bottom surface of the mouse pad is made from polyurethane non-slip base that keeps it from sliding on the desk.

I truly appreciated the buyers good reviews as they were very helpful!

A DIAMONG RING IN BLUE SAPPHIRE STONES

Months before my birthday...

I asked myself what I want on my 27th year in this world? Thinking... Then I said to myself, what about a pair of pearl earrings as per my birthstone!

A week before my actual birthday, I looked for pearl of earrings on the high streets and sadly, it didn’t yield a good result. Why? It's because most of the earrings looked cheap and artificial. I felt unlucky as I couldn't find a pair of attractive earrings which I will use on my actual natal day. I gave it a rest and headed back home as the frustration was eating me.

I went on to the high street the next day and visited a few shops again to find an eye-catching pair of earrings. What I mean is, exceptionally charming. Again, I was getting tired as time went by looking into windows; entering shops and even asking sales assistants. When all of a sudden I said to myself, perhaps this was not yet the right time for me to have ear piercings. I sat for awhile and surprisingly, I thought of a diamond ring (if in case, I will be in a financial crisis I can easily pawn the ring...lol!) because of my right ring finger.

A day before my birthday...

 

I visited back the high street and checked 3 Jewellery shops, again. If in case, they had a sale or a ring that was worth purchasing. The first two shops offered reduced prices but they had not convinced my eyes to buy one of their collections. I walked and entered the last one.

When I was walking towards the shop, I saw a few displays in their windows which included trays of earrings, necklaces, rings etc. All of the collections had valuable stones that made me so eager to ask one of the assistants to hand over a few trays of ring. I scrutinised and fitted like 5-6 rings before I finally said, this is what I really want! A Diamond Ring in a setting of Blue Sapphire Stones. However, the ring was slightly loose for my fourth finger. The man who assisted me said, 'We can re-size the ring Madame and will be collected a week after, would it be fine for you?'. We both agreed and I didn’t give a minimum fuss how long it will take. I paid the full amount and headed back home with a big smile in my face, light-hearted and free from worries!

With or without gems, I can be a very fussy woman especially when it comes to items I will always use in my everyday life.

BLUE SAPPHIRE EARRINGS SORROUNDED IN THE CLUSTER BY SPARKLING DIAMONDS

When the day of our birth comes, weeks before the actual day our wishful minds anticipate for gifts, cards or a bunch of flowers to arrive. Either from a friend, a lover or amongst our family members who dearly remember our birthdays.

Most of us would like to receive a tangible item which we can use in our everyday lives. Or it can be a special wish (like a round trip vacation abroad, see your parents who have been away for years etc.) which will bring great happiness and completeness on our special day.

Whether you receive something or just celebrating your birthday like a typical day, always be thankful to the Almighty Father for giving you another year of good health on Earth. And also, be grateful to your loved-ones and closest friends who unconditionally love and support you, through ups and downs.

More than 2 weeks ago, I celebrated and embraced another year of my life on Earth. And prior to my birthday, I already received unexpected presents from my close friends. They were material things which I liked and appreciated. Actually, it wasn’t the items that made my day bountiful and blissful as it was the sincerity and effort, wrapped in each gift. To all of you and you know who you are, Thank You so much!

Aside from the parcels, on my natal day I bought myself a gift and was one of my topmost wishes in my list too. A pair of 18ct yellow gold blue topaz stud earrings enhanced by cubic zirconia. I was delighted and thought I was!

I didn’t dislike the gift at all; I was really thankful. It's just that they had eye-opening problems when they were under my possession. The problems with the earrings happened twice. One of the gemstones came out of the metal rim or collar and also, one of the butterflies (earrings' locks) broke into two pieces (this happened twice). The first time I was just happy to receive a new replacement set as I was thinking it might be a common fault. However when one of the butterflies of the newly replaced earrings was divided into two pieces for the second time, I decided to return them to the shop and asked for the money back.

Actually, I was angry (yet polite) because they wasted my time as well as made me disappointed too. I really have a high respect to them and even thought that all of their products were sturdy. We had an agreement in which they gave back my money and a few minutes after, I stepped-out of the shop very happy!

After solving the dispute with the shop, I checked three more jewellery shops on the same high street that day. I dwelt at the shop where I bought my Diamond Ring in a setting of Blue Sapphire Stones last year. When I was there, two trays of earrings were displayed in front of me. Certainly, I didn’t doubt that they sell a much more superior quality and very classy too. That is why, I asked the man in-charged to find a pair of earrings which will match my ring. He presented me with a few and I wasn't disappointed with his humble suggestions. Aside from that, he even gave me a discount which really enticed me to buy the earrings. It was undeniably an incentive to a customer like me!

But before that, I could see that this man had a meticulous eye about precious stones. Why? It was because he recognised straight away the stone embellished in my ring (It's from our shop) and it really wows me. Honestly, I was pleased with his expertise and also very satisfied with the service offered. That's why, I felt remorseful for not going back to their shop when I was looking for a pair of exquisitely well- made earrings.

I have learnt my lesson and am now feeling contented because of my new pair of earrings from H. Purchen Jewellers.
