BOTTOM- DOWN POSITION

A woman's blissful moment in life is to hear the wail of her newly born child, this is called Motherhood!

The normal process of delivering a baby is a relief to all pregnant mothers. What if the baby's position inside the womb of a mother is breech, bottom-down position?

The acronym E.C.V. which means External Cephalic Version is a procedure to turn your baby around so that it is in correct position for delivery. This method is manually performed by a midwife or a obstetrician, who will gently move your baby's breech position into a head- down position for a normal delivery.

It is usually applied at 36 weeks onwards of pregnancy.
